There is no single best LinkedIn automation tool; the right one depends on who sends and how. Agencies running many sender accounts: HeyReach. LinkedIn and email in one cloud sequence: La Growth Machine or Dripify. One seller who wants campaigns to run with the laptop closed: Dripify or Expandi, or Waalaxy for the lowest cloud price we found. A free plan that runs campaigns: OutreachGenie, capped at 80 actions a week. Lowest paid price: Octopus CRM at $9.99 a month. Desktop software you host: Linked Helper. LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots and unauthorized automation, so every tool here carries account-restriction risk.

Picks by use case
Each pick below rests on one published fact you can recheck: a price, a plan limit, or where the vendor says the work runs. None of them comes from a campaign we ran. If two needs apply to you, for example an agency that also wants email steps, start with the need that would make you switch tools later.
- Agency with many LinkedIn senders: HeyReach. It bills per sender, does not charge for teammates or clients, and sells 25 senders for $999 a month.
- LinkedIn and email in one cloud sequence: La Growth Machine, which bills per identity and includes both channels on every plan. Dripify also includes email on every paid plan.
- One seller who wants campaigns to keep running with the computer off: Dripify or Expandi. Waalaxy is cheaper at $19 a user a month in its US-dollar display, with tighter invitation caps.
- A free plan that runs campaigns: OutreachGenie. Free covers 80 outreach actions and 500 new prospects a week, and the browser has to stay open.
- Lowest paid price: Octopus CRM, from $9.99 a month on monthly billing, as a Chrome extension.
- Desktop software on hardware you control: Linked Helper, from $15 per license a month.
- Cold-email team adding LinkedIn: lemlist Multichannel.
- Want to start local and move to cloud later with the same vendor: Dux-Soup STACKED.
Dripify: LinkedIn and email in the cloud for sales reps
Price, checked November 5, 2026: Pro is $79 per user a month on monthly billing or $59 billed annually, and Advanced is $99 or $79. Enterprise is quoted by sales. Each seat connects one LinkedIn account. The 7-day trial needs no card. Every paid plan includes LinkedIn and email steps in the same sequence and 100 email-finder credits a month.
Dripify suits a sales team where each rep runs their own LinkedIn account and wants campaigns to continue when their laptop is closed. Advanced is the plan for managers: it adds team management, A/B testing and step analytics.
- Strength: email is included from the first paid plan, not reserved for a top tier.
- Strength: cloud execution, so a sleeping computer does not pause the queue.
- Trade-off: no free plan, and $79 a month is high for one occasional sender.
- Trade-off: team oversight sits on Advanced, so a five-rep team pays $495 a month on monthly billing.

Dux-Soup: one app, run locally or in the cloud
Price, checked November 5, 2026: Dux-Soup now sells STACKED, a desktop app for Mac and Windows. STACKED local runs on your own machine for $55 per seat a month, or $41.25 billed annually. STACKED cloud runs on Dux-Soup's infrastructure for $99 per seat a month, or $74.17 billed annually. Its setup guide offers a two-week trial without card details. Teams with two or more seats can share campaigns.
Dux-Soup fits a buyer who wants the cheaper local option now and the choice to move execution to the vendor later without changing tools. Its pricing page lists LinkedIn actions and CRM integrations, but no email steps.
- Strength: the same product in two execution models, priced side by side.
- Strength: native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Slack, Zapier and Make.
- Trade-off: the local plan stops when your machine sleeps or shuts down.
- Trade-off: no email sequences, so a LinkedIn-plus-email workflow needs a second tool.

Expandi: branching sequences with a dedicated IP
Price, checked November 5, 2026: Business is $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually. The 7-day trial converts to the billing period you chose unless you cancel first. Expandi describes itself as cloud-based software with a dedicated country-based IP address. Its If/Action sequence builder can mix LinkedIn steps with email follow-ups. Teams of ten or more seats, and buyers who want a white-label version, get an Agency quote.
Expandi is for a seller or small team that needs conditional sequences, for example different steps for people who accept versus people who ignore an invitation, and is willing to pay more than entry-level tools for that builder.
- Strength: conditional sequences across LinkedIn and email in one campaign.
- Strength: Agency plan with roles, permissions and white label for larger teams.
- Trade-off: one public plan at $99, with no lower tier.
- Trade-off: image and GIF personalization is a paid extra, and the trial bills automatically if you forget to cancel.

HeyReach: built around many senders
Price, checked November 5, 2026: Growth is $79 per sender a month, or $64 a month billed yearly. Agency is $999 a month for 25 senders, with a 50-sender option, and Unlimited is $2,999 a month. HeyReach charges per connected LinkedIn account, not per teammate, client or assistant. Growth comes with a 14-day trial for three accounts without a card and a dedicated residential proxy per sender; Agency and Unlimited ask you to bring your own proxies.
HeyReach describes its execution as server-side: you do not need to keep a browser open. It is organized around sender rotation, a unified inbox and client workspaces, which is why agencies shortlist it first. Email comes through integrations with Instantly and Smartlead rather than a native email step.
- Strength: at 25 senders, the Agency bundle works out to about $40 per sender.
- Strength: unlimited teammates and clients at no extra cost, with white label on Agency.
- Trade-off: for one or two senders, $79 each is more than most single-seller tools.
- Trade-off: email needs a second subscription, and the larger plans need your own proxies.

La Growth Machine: LinkedIn and email per identity
Price, checked November 5, 2026: La Growth Machine bills per identity, meaning one sender's LinkedIn account and email inboxes. In its US-dollar display, Basic is $69 an identity a month on monthly billing ($58 yearly), Pro is $138 and Ultimate is $207. It invoices in euros: €60, €120 and €180 on monthly billing. Basic allows up to three identities; Pro and Ultimate have no identity limit. Teammates who prepare campaigns or answer replies join free: 3 on Basic, 25 on Pro, unlimited on Ultimate. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Every plan includes LinkedIn and email. La Growth Machine describes itself as cloud-based with dedicated IPs, and its pricing page lists a dedicated mobile proxy per identity. Client workspaces are an add-on.
- Strength: LinkedIn and email are both included from the cheapest plan.
- Strength: non-sending teammates do not add cost.
- Trade-off: Pro at $138 per identity is the most expensive per-sender price on this list.
- Trade-off: invoices are in euros, so the dollar cost moves with the exchange rate.

lemlist: for teams that already run cold email
Price, checked November 5, 2026: LinkedIn steps require the Multichannel plan at $109 per user a month on monthly billing, or $87 billed yearly. The cheaper Email plan ($69 a month) has no LinkedIn automation. The 14-day trial includes Multichannel features except in-app calls.
lemlist's help center says its Chrome extension is required for LinkedIn automation and that the integration relies on your browser session. Each lemlist account connects one LinkedIn account, so three LinkedIn senders need three seats and three Chrome profiles. That makes lemlist a good fit when email is the main channel and LinkedIn is an extra touch, and a costly one when LinkedIn is the main channel.
- Strength: email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS in one sequence and one inbox.
- Strength: a lead database and email warm-up come with the platform.
- Trade-off: $109 per LinkedIn sender on monthly billing is the highest entry price here.
- Trade-off: LinkedIn steps depend on an open Chrome session with the extension.

Linked Helper: desktop software you host
Price, checked November 5, 2026: Standard is $15 per license a month with local data storage on a one-month term; Pro is $45. Storing workspace data on Linked Helper's servers raises those to $29.90 and $59.90. Longer terms cut the price by up to 45% and larger license counts by up to 50%. The 14-day trial gives full Pro access without a card and does not renew on its own.
Linked Helper is desktop software on both storage options: it runs on your computer or on a VPS you rent, and the LinkedIn session stays on that machine. The machine has to be on with the app running. Workspaces support roles and a view-only guest login for clients. It can find emails through your own Snov.io or Apollo account but lists no email sending.
- Strength: low list price and large term and volume discounts.
- Strength: the session and, on local storage, the data stay on hardware you control.
- Trade-off: Standard caps some actions, such as 20 likes a day; Pro lifts them.
- Trade-off: around-the-clock running means paying for and maintaining a VPS.
Octopus CRM: the lowest paid price, inside Chrome
Price, checked November 5, 2026: on monthly billing, Starter is $9.99 a month, Pro $14.99, Advanced $21.99 and Unlimited $39.99. Billed annually, they fall to $6.99, $9.99, $14.99 and $24.99. Every plan has a 7-day trial without a card. Agencies managing 20 or more accounts are asked to contact sales.
Octopus CRM is a Chrome extension, so it works from your browser and your LinkedIn session. It covers invitations, messages, profile visits, endorsements and a simple pipeline view, with a Zapier and HubSpot connection. It is a reasonable first paid tool for one person testing whether automation fits their routine.
- Strength: the cheapest paid entry point we found.
- Strength: no card needed for the trial.
- Trade-off: LinkedIn only, with no email sequences.
- Trade-off: actions depend on your browser being open; the plan grid decides which actions each tier includes.
OutreachGenie: a free plan that runs campaigns from your browser
Price, checked November 5, 2026: Free costs $0 with no credit card and includes 80 outreach actions (invitations, messages, likes, comments and follows) and 500 new prospects a week; steps over the cap wait for the Monday reset. Pro is $15 a month per workspace, or $150 a year, removes both caps and adds the AI features, with a 7-day trial. Agency is $20 per connected LinkedIn account a month, billed monthly with no trial, and adds one campaign shared across accounts plus a unified inbox. MCP, Zapier and API keys are on every plan.
Campaigns are built in a web app, and a Chrome extension performs the LinkedIn steps in the user's own signed-in Chrome. That is why it can offer a free plan with real campaign actions, and also why it is a poor fit for anyone who needs campaigns to run with the computer off.
- Strength: the only free plan in this comparison that runs LinkedIn campaign actions.
- Strength: low paid entry, at $15 for Pro or $20 per account on Agency.
- Trade-off: LinkedIn only, with no email or multichannel sequences.
- Trade-off: Chrome must stay open while actions run; it is a newer product with a smaller review footprint; Free stops at its weekly caps.
Waalaxy: the cheapest cloud entry point
Price, checked November 5, 2026: in its US-dollar display, Pro is $19 per user a month on monthly billing, Advanced $39 and Business $69; yearly billing lowers them to $16, $32 and $55. The euro display differs (the default yearly view shows €19, €49 and €69, and the help center gives €139 a month as the standard monthly Business price), so confirm the amount at checkout. Pro allows 300 invitations a month and Advanced and Business 800. Email sequences and multiple sender accounts are on Business only.
Waalaxy announced on July 1, 2026 that it is now fully cloud-based and removed its Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. Its Freemium account keeps your data but cannot run automation, and the trial requires a credit card and converts to a paid plan unless you cancel.
- Strength: the lowest monthly price among the cloud tools here.
- Strength: no browser dependency since the move to cloud.
- Trade-off: Pro's 300 invitations a month is a tight ceiling for daily prospecting.
- Trade-off: email only on Business, and the price shown depends on your region.

Cloud, browser extension or desktop: what you are choosing
Cloud tools (Dripify, Expandi, HeyReach, La Growth Machine, Waalaxy and Dux-Soup's cloud plan) hold a session to your LinkedIn account on the vendor's side and keep working when your computer is off. You pay for that infrastructure in the subscription, and you hand the vendor ongoing access to the account.
Browser-extension tools (OutreachGenie, Octopus CRM, and lemlist for its LinkedIn steps) act inside your own signed-in Chrome. They are cheaper to run and keep the session on your machine, but nothing happens while the browser is closed. Desktop apps (Linked Helper and Dux-Soup local) sit in between: the session stays on a machine you control, which has to stay on.
None of these models is approved by LinkedIn. Execution location changes uptime, cost and who holds the session; it does not change the platform rule.

What 'free LinkedIn automation tool' means in practice
Most tools in this comparison offer a trial, not a free plan. Trials ran from 7 to 14 days on the pages we checked, and some (Expandi, Waalaxy) convert to a paid plan unless you cancel. Waalaxy has a Freemium account, but its help center says it cannot run automation. OutreachGenie was the only tool here with a $0 plan that runs campaign actions, within 80 outreach actions and 500 new prospects a week.
Before relying on any free tier, write down what the cap counts, when it resets, and what happens to scheduled steps that exceed it. A free plan can still cost staff time, and a paid plan only makes sense if the work it unlocks is work you need.
What LinkedIn's rules say
Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement lists what members agree not to do, including using bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the service, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages, or create, comment on, like or share posts. Another item in the same list rules out software, scripts and browser plugins that scrape or copy LinkedIn. The Help Center article "Prohibited software and extensions" applies this to third-party tools that scrape, change the look of, or automate activity on the site, and says members who use them risk having their accounts restricted or shut down. A second article, "Automated activity on LinkedIn", tells restricted members to disable the tool before the account is re-enabled.
That covers cloud, extension and desktop tools alike, including OutreachGenie. Dedicated IPs, proxies, warm-up schedules and daily caps are vendor settings, not LinkedIn's permission, so decide whether an account may be automated at all before comparing prices.

How we compared
We read each vendor's own pricing page on November 5, 2026, in a browser set to US English, and opened help-center or vendor articles where a pricing page did not state a trial term or where the work runs. Where a page showed different currencies by region, we report the US-dollar display and note the euro price. Prices exclude tax and use monthly billing unless marked.
We did not run campaigns in these tools, so nothing here measures acceptance rates, reply rates or how often accounts were restricted. We left out tools whose main job is data extraction rather than outreach sequences. The method follows our published comparison standard: vendor facts are dated and linked, and the picks are editorial judgment based on those facts.

Should I choose a cloud tool or a browser extension?
